Gone with the wind

There is something in the air.

It’s more alive than we’ll ever know.

Just listen to the howls and growls,

as it tries to speak to you.

Observe how it keeps things moving.

How it keeps you breathing, while you stand still.

While you watch the trees dance and birds glide above.

While you wait to be lifted into the heavens,

and to be gone with the wind.

The wind that always gets under your skin.
